An opportunity to lead the demands management process for RRSL, overseeing sales and operations planning, scenario modelling, and integration with engineering, supply chain, programme management and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning Process (S&OP) for RRSL, ensuring risks, inventory, and financial implications are modelled and evaluated across the internal & external supply chain and approved by stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of Schedulers and Technical Controllers, responsible for validating SAP demands and providing a shared demands‑management service across the Submarines business.
  • Act as sub‑process owner for demands management; work cross‑functionally to integrate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Programme Management, and Operations.
  • Manage creation and change control of Logistics BoMs, assessing impacts and ensuring effective implementation into production.
  • Accountable for functional and professional development of P&C network scheduling and technical control population.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership qualities or experience managing, building, and developing a team.
  • Broad understanding of roles/functions/processes in Manufacturing, Purchase, NPI, ME, etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP scheduling and planning processes, including load & capacity and inventory considerations.
  • Strong people skills, ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels, both internally and externally.
  • Robust organisational, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
  • Security Check clearance; Rolls‑Royce will support application for clearance if not already held.
  • Eligible to work: UK national or dual national in MoD approved cases.
