We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Control Manager within the new Aerospace Procurement organisation. Specifically working in the Portfolio function and is aligned to the Fast Make and Complex Reactivation. We are recruiting this role so that we can further strengthen our teams and drive improved performance across our external supply chain. Our Supplier Management teams work closely with our external supply chain partners to make sure that we are delivering on our customer commitments, and these new opportunities will play a critical role in ensuring that this is done in a sustainable way.

As a Planning and Control Manager, you’ll lead our Planning & Control activities across the product lifecycle for our external supply chain. This includes making sure inventory and logistics costs are optimised and that delivery performance expectations are met.

  • Lead the team and their performance through understanding their performance data
  • Support the team’s management of key delivery metrics
  • Coordinate the Sales and Operations planning process for the commodities/ supply chain value stream
  • Anticipate & resolve mid-term delivery risks & issues
  • Develop and coach team members in professional growth and great customer experience

Educated to degree level or equivalent

Robust knowledge of Planning & Control, SAP and/or MRP

Relevant experience within planning, manufacturing or supply chain
