Job Description People Advisor – Rolls Royce in Derby

Full Time 6 Months FTC

Innovate & Power the world You will support the effective delivery of HR operations in their area, meeting business needs in line with HR delivery model and Company policy.

  • Key Accountabilities
  • Provide effective HR support to business managers ensuring business needs are met in line with Company HR policies and processes.
  • Work with line managers and employees to resolve problems in areas beyond GBS remit e. g. where face-to-face support or knowledge of the local business context is required.
  • Support local deployment of Company HR processes such as Absence Management, Performance Management, Reward Review, Role grading, Salary policy, Engagement Surveys and Diversity & Inclusion plans.
  • Responsible for providing support to People Partners and Case Specialists to enable HR processes to be executed efficiently and effectively through the HR operating model.
  • Guide line managers to obtain support from the right areas; maintain a strong partnership with other HR activities to ensure overall service delivery; ensure accurate data management by advising the SSC on all changes and complying with approval & notification procedures.
  • Raise employee concerns and engagement issues and recommending action to create a positive and productive working environment, liaising with the relevant ER team where necessary
  • Support change management, projects and communications for HR initiatives.
  • Advise and support line managers on people/team management responsibilities.

Qualifications / experience

Good working knowledge of HR processes and the relevant IT systems to support those processes.

Broad change management skill set along with the ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organizational change.

Well-developed customer and relationship management skill set.

Broad knowledge of the HR best practice across Employee Relations, Resourcing, Development and Employment Law.

Min Level 5 CIPD qualification is desirable.
