The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paint Sprayer to join our team in Services (DSFT), within the Rotatives Supply Chain Unit. Within this role you will operate in a busy, world-class engineering and manufacturing environment and be responsible for delivering against weekly targets to meet customer requirements.

Your role as a Paint Sprayer will involve the abrasive blasting and preparation for the manual application of both water-based and solvent-based corrosion protection paints to areas on L.P, H.P and I.P Mainline shafts, stubshafts, Discs and Drums across all our major engine projects as identified through Technical instructions, MDT and finished drawings. In addition, the role also involves the loading and unloading of paint curing ovens as well as manually trimming excess paint from unpainted surfaces. The role will also involve working with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain improvement activities within our manufacturing environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and regulations, maintaining a safe clean and tidy work area.
  • Work to Rolls-Royce Technical Instructions, Manufacturing drawings and written specifications to deliver consistent, high-quality paint application.
  • Work within an integrated team to achieve cell objectives.
  • Quality check own work and complete relevant documentation accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with aerospace components would be preferable.
  • Previous experience in paint spraying would be advantageous but full training is available.
  • Looking for candidates who are pro-active and patient individuals that are capable of managing their time effectively.
