We have an exciting opportunity within the Manufacturing Services function of the Civil Aerospace Assembly & Test organisation for an individual to join the team as a Maintenance Electrician reporting to the Manufacturing Services Leaders.
Initially working a three-shift core for 1 year, there will then be the option of a 24/6 overlay pattern (after demonstrating the required competence). What you will be doing:
In this role you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance, and repair of Test, Experimental and Production facilities equipment, plant, control systems and machine tools. In addition, you will:
- Be required to interface effectively with Customers, Suppliers and Manufacturing Services team members to optimise the overall performance of Assembly and Test organisation.
- Undertake Electrical Installation where required.

- Completed an advanced modern apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical discipline.
- You will be keen to work safely in a modern team based environment and possess a "can do" mentality and good problem solving skills.
- You must be able to demonstrate experience in using a variety of testing & inspection equipment and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- You will have a professional and flexible attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
- You will be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
- It is essential that you have an up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety and environmental procedures, including COSHH.
