The Cash Manager provides a comprehensive receipt and payments view of cash, delivering an operationally focused perspective to the business. This role offers unparalleled insight into divisional operations, with significant opportunities to deepen commercial and strategic understanding. During critical periods, such as mid‑year and year end, the Cash Manager leads Cash Drives and ensures accurate, timely, and proactive management of the Group’s cash position. The individual is the trusted source of truth on cash performance, advising the Head of FP&A, Group FP&A, and Treasury, and shaping key decisions through insightful analysis and clear communication.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the monthly cash actuals process, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide impactful commentary on variances.
  • Produce the cash liquidity roadmap and deliver on key reporting commitments.
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources, turning complexity into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Constructively challenge stakeholders, promoting clarity and accountability while building strong, trust‑based relationships.
  • Maintain pace and composure during forecast cycles and cash drives, ensuring accuracy.
  • Continuously monitor operational and commercial cash drivers to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Provide Treasury with clear currency volume forecasts to support effective hedging.
  • Identify and pursue process improvements to enhance forecasting and data quality.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three finance analysts, fostering capability and a high‑performance culture.
  • Build robust relationships with global Civil Aerospace Finance teams.

Preferred requirements:

  • Qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Customer focused with a drive for process improvement.
  • Proactive, accountable, hands‑on and able to work on own initiative.
  • Problem solving.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to extract meaning from large volumes of data.
  • SAP experience.
  • MS Excel skills (advanced).
  • HFM/OHP experience.
