An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief of Project Management Resourcing and Performance Management to join the Team in Derby. This is a Senior Leadership Role reporting to the Head of Group PM Capability.
What you will be doing:
- Own and deliver the group Project Management (PM) resourcing strategy including, world class project management skills and capability deployment, strategic workforce planning and Do/Buy, as well as the performance management strategy for the global Project Management Function.
- Own, deploy and control the Performance Management blueprint and strategy for Rolls-Royce Top Projects and the methods, tools, process and policy required to deploy to all projects.
- Own the development of world-class PM training, capability and skills framework. Starting with top talent and management grade, then across all roles with career path development.
- Use the World Class PM strategy as a foundation for strategic workforce planning, developing it alongside the needs of the divisions for excellence in project execution.
- Refresh the existing PM do/buy strategy to ensure we have a fit for purpose scalable PM offering to enable Group Programme delivery.
- Ensure all resourcing method and process is fully described, communicated and change managed across the Group.
Preferred requirements:
- Greater than 5 years in a Senior Programme Management role.
- Proven track record in project execution and has led complex projects in more than one domain or sector, to completion.
- Experience/ Qualification in coaching and/or change management.
- Chartered PM or other recognised Chartered Professional.
- Experience in governance and management of projects and/or programmes/portfolio of increasing complexity, or project management office.
- Experience in skills and capability development, solutions and proven results.
