Location: Bristol – Hybrid. Full time.

You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate distribution of hardware and peripherals to end users, supporting onboarding and day‑to‑day queries, ensuring contractual security requirements are assessed and implemented into day‑to‑day processes, and reviewing supply chain security.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of hardware and peripherals to end users.
  • Support onboarding and day‑to‑day queries.
  • Assess and implement contractual security requirements.
  • Review supply chain security.
  • Respond to project‑specific security requirements from customers.
  • Assess and define security requirements for projects and programmes.
  • Ensure compliance in the supply chain with project‑specific security requirements.
  • Conduct supplier security audits.
  • Provide IT account management and support.
  • Request account creation, approve issue of laptops, request folder access, order and issue peripherals, order replacement IT equipment.
  • Provide site support for sites in East Grinstead, Heybridge and Winsford and associated suppliers managing classified data.
  • Report to the IT & Information Security Manager to provide wider support for other locations.
  • Contribute and influence the development of information‑security strategies, policies, guidance, good practices and awareness.
  • Ensure that security activities within a programme, project or equipment are delivered and managed using recognised techniques and in accordance with relevant requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on assurance status/progress in accordance with programme / project specific reporting cycles.
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience within information security, risk management, security operations and compliance.
  • Hands‑on experience of IT support such as troubleshooting skills, customer service and basic networking knowledge.
  • Previous experience working within an information security management system (ISMS).
  • Knowledge of DEFCON 658, Def Stan 05-138, MOD Accreditation / Secure by Design is an advantage but not essential.
  • UK national or dual national with eligibility for Security Check clearance.
  • Rolls‑Royce will support application for Security Clearance if not already obtained.
