Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) acts as an extension of Rolls-Royce's recruitment team, providing professional interim and temporary resources.
On behalf of Rolls-Royce, we are looking for people to train to become Operations Team Members for a 12-month contract based in Rotherham. At the Advanced Blade Casting Facility (ABCF), Rolls-Royce makes critical turbine blades for their world-leading jet engines, utilising cutting-edge casting and automated technology.
You will be fully trained to perform various tasks involved in the casting process, so direct experience or a background in the engineering industry is not necessary. Skills in following processes or using apps and technology are valuable. The most important qualities are a readiness to learn, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and teamwork.
You will receive full support and expert training, with the potential for your role to become permanent.
As an Operations Team Member, you will:
- Follow technical instructions and operate high-tech robotic machinery
- Craft patterns in wax ready for casting
- Measure and check blades to ensure they meet high standards
- Gather data using digital apps
- Contribute to production plans
- Help find ways to improve processes and reduce costs
