We are looking for a
Project Co-ordinator for a 12-month contract based in Winsford on behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs.
Please note that this role is going to be hybrid with a mix of 4 days/week working from the office and the remaining days working from home.
Job
Purpose: Takes responsibility for the control and delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios.
Monitor, review and report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements defined in the Project Management Plan and agreed with the Project Sponsor and Project Manager.
Key Accountabilities of the Project Co-ordinator: Effective delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios.
Report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the project.
Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators.
Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification.
Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.
Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales.
Facilitated and manage risk and opportunity activities.
Key Experiences and any
Qualifications: Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
Member of a professional body and working towards a APMP qualification or equivalent.
At least 1 year experience in a relevant discipline, preferably on project work Working towards APMP / PMI qualification or equivalent (or assessed as possessing equivalent knowledge / experience to the same standard).
Experience in the development and / or implementation of project management processes and lifecycle, and a good knowledge of the project control processes.
