Finance Analyst

12-month contract
based in
Derby (hybrid working). Job Description - The Role As a Finance Analyst, you will ensure accurate and timely Civil UK HQ financial reporting, forecasting and period-end activities, including FX reporting, journals and balance sheet reviews. You will also support stakeholders, financial control queries and process improvement projects across the Civil business. As a Finance Analyst, the key responsibilities of the role will include: Preparing quarterly FX revaluation for Civil UK. Preparing Civil UK FX reporting deliverables for external auditors, Group and Civil stakeholders. Preparing period-end journals relating to operating costs, recharges and central accruals. Performing Civil HQ balance sheet reviews and presenting findings to key stakeholders. Supporting the Civil Finance Control Team with ad hoc financial queries and requests. Supporting financial projects, investigations and process improvement initiatives across the Civil business. What we require from the candidate: Qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA or ACA. Experience working in Finance. Experience in FX/foreign exchange reporting and revaluation. Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering quality results to challenging deadlines.
