We are looking for NDT Technician for a contract ending in December 2025 on a 24/6 shift pattern based in Barnoldswick for Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs.
As an NDT Technician you will be responsible for:
  • Perform Special Process/Operational tasks consistent with the requirements of the team, statutory and company standards (e.g. Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Management System, Production System) including the manufacture and assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and compliance methodologies, in order to satisfy customer needs and cost reduction targets. This may include elements of factory set up and workstation design.
  • Follow production plans to meet customer requirements.
  • Participate in cost reduction/operational improvements to satisfy customer needs.
  • Contribute to achievement of cell performance targets.
  • Recognise and perform asset maintenance activities to ensure that equipment and facilities are safe and reliable to a high-performance standard.
  • Work with other team members to deliver team objectives and requirements, including knowledge sharing and training others.
Our ideal candidate for this NDT Technician role will:
  • Have NDT inspection experience in a tightly regulated manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Have a time served modern apprenticeship (or equivalent) and a Level 3 qualification.
  • Have a Level 2 (or equivalent) NDT qualification.
