At present, we are looking for a Radiologist for a 12-month contract based in Bristol on behalf of Rolls-Royce. Please note that this role will be on a rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, and nights).

As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out non-destructive X-ray examinations of aerospace components in line with approved techniques and technical documentation, helping to ensure products meet quality and compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring full traceability across both paper-based and digital systems.
  • Reporting to the NDE Production Leader.
  • Prioritising workload in line with customer requirements.
  • Interpreting and evaluating indications.
  • Completing inspection documentation as necessary, including raising failed inspection and correction documentation.
  • Operating the Shop Floor Data Manager work booking system.
  • Recording work details and non-conformance, checking efficiency of the process.
  • Working to the relevant Quality & Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
  • Undertaking basic housekeeping tasks, including 5S activity.
  • Involvement in Process Improvement activity.

What we require for the Radiologist position:

  • Level 2 Radiographer (preferred but not essential).
  • Aerospace experience in other Non-Destructive Testing Techniques.
  • Good organisation and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate; will be required to use various software applications.
  • Team player with the energy and drive to succeed.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Customer, Quality, and Delivery focused.
