Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) is one of our service offerings; we act as an extension of Rolls-Royce's recruitment team and provide professional interim and temporary resources.

This role is for an experienced Quality Professional with at least 5 years of experience to manage and integrate new activities into an Integrated Management System (IMS), oversee ISO 9001 compliance, and coordinate audit and continuous improvement programmes across the business.

What you'll do:

  • Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the IMS, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and that documentation is accurate, controlled, and up to date.
  • Support the integration of newly acquired entities into the IMS, ensuring alignment to business standards and consistent ways of working.
  • Coordinate and support the audit programme (internal and supplier), including scheduling, conducting audits, follow-up meetings, tracking actions, and maintaining records.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance activities, including gap analysis, audit readiness, and follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Raise and manage supplier quality notifications (QN), collaborating with suppliers to achieve timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain NCR databases, ensuring accurate data entry, tracking, and closure of all actions.
  • Maintain the Quality document management system, ensuring documents are controlled, accessible, and standardised.
  • Support Business Areas in process mapping, documenting, and streamlining of processes across the business, particularly during integration activities.
  • Prepare and support quality reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual Management Review), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Maintain quality data, trackers, and systems to support informed decision making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate 8D investigations, including tracking root causes, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
  • Act as a key point of contact for quality matters, effectively coordinating with stakeholders across all levels and departments of the business.
  • Own and manage the HSQE management of change (MOC) programme, to ensure the impact of introduced parts, equipment, and infrastructure changes are documented, and any associated risks are recognised and controlled.
  • Develop and implement a Risk register for project-based work, to document and allow mitigation of significant risks to project delivery.
  • Any other additional Quality focused task as required.

Requirements:

  • 8D Practitioner
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Ability to look at problems from many perspectives to think outside the box and create and own innovative solutions.
  • MS Office and equivalent working skills
  • Minimum 5 years working experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • 3-5 years technical engineering experience preferred.

Communication: Engaging with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear outcomes from discussions in both verbal and written format.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation, data, and compliance aspect.

Collaboration: Team player capable of working across functions.

Proactivity: Takes ownership of tasks and follows up actions.
