Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed. Due to a significant increase in demand across our business, we're expanding our team with multiple opportunities available. These roles have been created to support a number of exciting change and transformation initiatives, while also aligning our resources to meet current and future business needs.
Purpose of the role:
- Provide technical engineering support for maintenance, repair and overhaul activities.
- Develop, review and update maintenance procedures, repair instructions and technical documentation.
- Investigate component failures, non-conformances and in-service issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Support repair development and approval activities for engine and component hardware.
- Liaise with manufacturing, design and supply chain teams to ensure effective implementation of repair solutions.
- Evaluate engineering changes and assess their impact on maintenance strategies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with airworthiness, regulatory and customer requirements.
- Support product lifecycle activities, including service introduction and ongoing fleet support.
- Provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
As a MRO Engineer you will:
- Be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
- Have experience within Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), engineering support or through-life support environments.
- Understand aerospace maintenance principles and engineering processes.
- Have experience producing or revising technical documentation, maintenance manuals or repair procedures.
- Possess strong root cause investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Have the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
