We are looking for a Finance Assistant for a 12-month contract based in Derby. It is a hybrid model.
Job Description – The Role
We are looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join the Asset and Cash Management team. This role is ideal for someone with a finance background. The successful candidate will support inbox management, month-end activities, and both statutory and management reporting.
As a Finance Assistant, the key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing the Asset Management inbox, responding to queries from various business units in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Supporting statutory and management reporting processes in compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Communicating effectively with global stakeholders, including teams based in Germany, Singapore, and the UK.
What we require from the candidate:
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or relevant industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage global interactions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- SAP knowledge is essential.
