On behalf of Rolls-Royce, who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer role on a 12 month contract based in East Grinstead (hybrid - 3 days working on site, 2 days working remote per week).

  • Purpose of the Role
  • Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management activities for direct material categories, ensuring a resilient, high-performing supply chain that supports manufacturing, overhaul programmes, and customer delivery commitments.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that deliver cost optimisation, commercial value, quality, compliance, and supply continuity across a portfolio of key suppliers.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure materials, components, and services are sourced effectively to support business growth and operational excellence.

  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities from supplier identification and market analysis through to contract negotiation, award, implementation, and supplier management.
