On behalf of Rolls-Royce, who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Vice President, Procurement, Indirect for a 12-month contract based in Derby. Please note this position is going to be hybrid.
The Vice President, Procurement, Indirect will be responsible:
- Lead and develop a global team of procurement category managers and buyers, ensuring strong performance, capability growth, and cross-category collaboration.
- Own the creation and execution of sourcing and category strategies aligned with wider business objectives, ensuring delivery of cost, value, and operational performance targets.
- Oversee major strategic supplier relationships, negotiating complex long-term contracts and ensuring continuity of supply, cost efficiency, quality, and service levels.
- Identify and deliver cost-reduction opportunities, commercial benefits, and mitigation of cost headwinds across all relevant categories.
- Ensure timely completion of sourcing activities, resolution of supplier disputes, and closure of commercial or cost issues that may affect operations or financial outcomes.
- Monitor market conditions to inform strategy and strengthen supply chain resilience.
- Lead adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards across the team.
- Ensure supplier compliance with ESG, sustainability, ethical working practices, and legislative obligations.
- Drive procurement performance metrics and support engagement frameworks with internal stakeholders to unlock new value opportunities.
