Due to a number of exciting change and transformational activities across the Rolls-Royce business we are now seeking to add a number of Thermofluids Engineers. The Thermofluids Engineers will be based in Derby. You'll be responsible for:
- Define system, sub-system and component requirements for thermofluidic, temperature and thermo-mechanical analysis.
- Develop and evaluate concepts using analytical methods to support system-level design trades and architecture selection.
- Perform modelling, simulation and verification at component and system level across the product lifecycle.
- Plan and conduct validation activities including test specification, model calibration and uncertainty quantification.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher (or regional equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking to solve complex engineering problems.
- Demonstrate proactive ownership, high self-motivation, and strong customer focus.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate confidently with peers and technical leaders.
- Ideally have experience in thermal, mechanical, or fluid systems, and be working toward Chartered status with a relevant professional body.
