On behalf of Rolls-Royce, who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Senior Verification Engineerrole on a 12 month contract based in Derby(hybrid - 3 days working on site, 2 days working remote per week). Lead Systems Engineering, Validation & Verification across the entire product and programme life cycle. Integrate with and provide coaching, guidance, and training to engineers from other functions. Develop certification / qualification strategies to satisfy external regulatory bodies. Create clearance / acceptance documentation that meets the demands of the project. Compile and deliver compliance / substantiation evidence for customers and external regulatory bodies (EG EASA/FAA) Be qualified to degree level in a STEM subject and with experience in a relevant engineering environment (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical or Controls). Have relevant domain experience (Aerospace, Defence, Naval or other highly regulated sectors). Knowledge of gas turbines and associated regulatory requirements and processes would be particularly beneficial. Possess excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Be able to contribute effectively in a team environment, collaborating across different engineering disciplines and externally. We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
