Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) is one way we support Rolls-Royce. Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect Rolls-Royce with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.

We are looking for an Internal Channels Manager to work on a 5-month contract based at their Derby site. The role is hybrid with 2 / 3 days onsite. The role is part of a global Channels & Content team and will suit a candidate with strong internal channel management experience who can operate strategically while managing day-to-day channel operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll do as an Internal Channels Manager:

  • Manage and optimise Rolls-Royce's internal communication channels, including SharePoint intranet, Viva Engage, Poppulo, Appspace screens, and the employee newspaper.
  • Develop and deliver integrated channel and content plans that support business objectives and ensure consistent messaging across Group and Divisional audiences, including both digitally connected and non-connected employees.
  • Partner with Internal Communications teams to coordinate, review, and optimise content, ensuring it is audience-focused, channel-appropriate, and aligned to the One Rolls-Royce brand and communication standards.
  • Drive channel governance, performance measurement, and continuous improvement, ensuring channels remain effective, compliant, and fit for purpose.
  • Deliver channel enhancement initiatives, including the introduction, evolution, maintenance, or retirement of communication channels where appropriate.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal communications channels, championing digital best practice, innovation, and emerging technologies while influencing stakeholders across the Communications function.

The skills you'll need as an Internal Channels Manager:

  • Recognised expert and owner of best practice in internal channel management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in managing both digital and traditional channels, able to demonstrate where you have delivered compelling content with business impact.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to self-motivate and prioritise efforts among multiple projects while working to tight deadlines.
  • Creative and high energy in bringing new thinking and challenge.
  • Collaborative approach and proven track record of relationship building with senior leaders and collaboration with peers.
