On behalf of Rolls-Royce, who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Skilled CNC Machinist for a 12 month contract based in Ansty, Coventry.

As a Skilled CNC Machinist, you would be working on a 3-shift pattern (weekly rotating morning, afternoon/link and night shifts).

As a Skilled CNC Machinist, you will be:

  • A multi-skilled Engineer with the ability to use a range of machine tools manufacturing high quality aerospace components.
  • Critiquing your own work undertaking both visually and dimensionally inspecting components.
  • Maintaining our excellent quality standards, being an integral part of our manufacturing process.
  • Working within strict HS&E guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assessing whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards.

What we require from a Skilled CNC Machinist:

  • A completed engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in 3 or 5-axis grinding, milling or turning on CNC machines.
  • Previous experience with aerospace components would be an advantage.
  • Experience of Siemens control systems would be an advantage.
  • Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.
