Bristol on behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs.

Please note thethis role is going to be on a rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoon and nights).

As a Radiologist you will be responsible for ensuring production batches meet BTF-F quality compliance, referring to approved X-Ray Techniques, RQSCs and Technical documentation.

You will ensure the compliance and traceability of documentation in paper-copy format and on the business MRP/MES software.

As a Radiologist you will

  • Report to the NDE Production Leader.
  • Prioritise workload in line with the customers requirements.
  • Interpretate and evaluate of indications.
  • Complete inspection documentation as necessary including raising failed inspection and correction documentation operation of the Shop Floor Data Manager work booking system.
  • Record work details and non-conformance, checking efficiency of the process.
  • Work to the relevant Quality & Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures
  • Undertake basic housekeeping tasks, including 5s activity. Involvement in Process Improvement activity.

What we require for the Radiologist position

  • Level 2 Radiographer (preferred but not essential)
  • Aerospace experience in other Non-Destructive Testing Technique
  • Good organisation and written communication skills
  • Computer literate will be required to use various software applications.
  • Team player with the energy and drive to succeed
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Customer, Quality and Delivery focused
