Job Description\\n\\nJob Title: Manufacturing Engineer – Heat Treatment\\n\\nWorking Pattern: Days\\n\\nWorking location: Derby\\n\\nAn exciting opportunity for a Heat Treatment Manufacturing Engineer has arisen within the Primary Components Operations (PCO) business. \\n\\nOur nuclear business is a leader in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet and the sole provider and technical authority, managing all aspects of plant design, safety, manufacture, performance and through-life support.\\n\\nPCO is going through exciting times and significant change to support our customers. As a Manufacturing Engineer – Heat Treatment you will be providing technical ownership to heat treatment processes, delivering components through pre/post weld heat treatment, writing technical instructions for pre-weld heat treatment setups, applying process control, cost effective manufacturing and developing capability to meet customer and business requirements. \\n\\nWhy Rolls-Royce?\\n\\nRolls-Royce is one of the most enduring and iconic brands in the world and has been at the forefront of innovation for over a century. These include bonus, employee support assistance and employee discounts.\\n\\nWhat you will be doing:\\n\\nWith this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:\\nGenerating the technical package for the shop floor for the heat treatment of parts to ensure compliance to controlling specifications and meeting design requirements. This will include furnace programmes, data cards, procedures and defining the content for technical instructions, and manufacturing stage drawings.\\nUsing Build in Quality tools such as process maps, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEAs), and control plans.\\nOverseeing running of the furnaces, resolving emergent issues, and providing technical oversight.\\nDeveloping process capability and delivering new equipment.\\nDay to day planning of projects in line with project requirements.\\n\\nWho we're looking for:\\n\\nAt Rolls-Royce we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do.
