Due to a senior leader recognised with a sabbatical, we seek an acting deputy principal’s appointment (for terms 2 and 3 2027). Rolleston College is a rapidly growing, future-focused secondary school in Selwyn, Canterbury. Since opening in 2017, the college has developed a strong reputation for innovation, relational practice, and high expectations. In 2026, we proudly opened the first stage of our senior campus, marking a significant milestone in our journey as one school across two campuses.
These are roles for experienced, relational and future-focused people leaders who can lead change in a mana-enhancing way while maintaining clarity, high expectations and disciplined follow-through. The successful applicants will bring a strong grounding in pastoral care and learner wellbeing, alongside the ability to create, implement and lead effective systems across a large and complex school.
