We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who is fluent in German and interested in working with both inbound and outbound leads to grow our sales pipeline. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be the front-line connection with prospects, mastering the sales process and qualification, and setting our Account Executives up for success. This hybrid (in-office/remote) role involves researching, initiating and maintaining relationships, and capitalising on opportunities to drive growth.

What You'll Do

  • Inbound and Outbound Prospecting: Swiftly respond to inbound inquiries and generate new business leads through outbound opportunities via calls and emails.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads through effective discovery calls; understand prospect needs and articulate our product's value proposition.
  • Pipeline Generation: Drive urgency to progress prospects through the sales funnel and collaborate with the sales team to meet company goals and targets.
  • Relationship Building and Event Representation: Initiate meetings between prospects and Account Executives; drive engagement and seize new business opportunities from events.

About You

  • You are based in London, excel in a hybrid work environment, and balance in-office collaboration with remote productivity.
  • You are fluent in both German and English.
  • While 1-2 years of BDR experience in the B2B SaaS industry is a plus, we welcome candidates who show potential, drive, and a passion for sales even if they are new to the role.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas, with a solid grasp of qualification frameworks like MEDDICC or BANT.
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms is a big plus, as is proven success running outbound sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships and clear communication with clients and team members.

Your Qualities

  • Hard-Working & Resilient: You embrace challenges and persist through setbacks, turning obstacles into opportunities to grow.
  • Creative & Intelligent: You approach problems with a fresh perspective and bring innovative ideas to solve complex issues.
  • Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced environments and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
  • Coachable: You are eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and quick to apply new strategies to improve performance.
  • Positive & Collaborative Attitude: You bring energy and enthusiasm, maintain a positive outlook, and work well with others.

Perks

  • Attractive compensation package.
  • Work on a category-leading product in a fun, high-growth industry.
  • 20 days of paid time off (PTO), 10 sick days, and local paid bank holidays.
  • 4 ROLLER Recharge days per year to celebrate quarterly goals with the team.
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers and 4 weeks for secondary carers.
  • Employee-only private medical and dental insurance.
  • Company pension with The People's Pension.
  • Life insurance – group life cover from day one.
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with 24/7 GP and mental health support, wellbeing resources, and more.
  • Engage in our "Vibe Tribe" with regular events, social activities, fundraising, and campaigns.
  • Team member assistance program with coaching, education modules, weekly webinars, and more.
  • Highly flexible work environment with an All Access pass to WeWork, depending on location.
  • Opportunities for learning and development and genuine career growth as we expand.

What You Can Expect

  • Initial call with our Talent Acquisition Manager: Discuss your experience, salary expectations, and address questions.
  • Interview with our Director of Business Development: Learn more about the role and ROLLER, review your experience in detail.
  • Role Play Working Session: Present your plan for your first year at ROLLER.
