As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Banking's Markets Tech team, you will lead multiple teams, manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues, and ensure your team’s work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to your immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities.
- Set overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
- Anticipate dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications aligned with business requirements.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and oversee the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business needs.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with proficient advanced experience.
- Hands-on experience in Golang / Java or React / Typescript.

- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience with Terraform.

- Full Stack experience is preferred.
