My client, a leader in the world of document automation, is looking for a senior backend engineer with expert Go knowledge to help build reliable, scalable systems that process millions of documents for their expanding customer base. They embrace the use of AI as part of the development process and will encourage you to make the most of it.
You have a foundation in backend engineering and are aware of customer needs and have an opinion of how users experience your work. You think of yourself as a full‑stack engineer with product instincts. The tech stack comprises Go, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and GCP/AWS, Svelte and Typescript.
Requirements:- 10+ years engineering experience
- 2+ years Go in production
- Experience in successfully using AI agents as part of the development process and a desire to do more with it
- Track record of successfully working remotely
- Open to join an on-call rota once you're settled
The team likes to get together every 4-6 weeks for 2 days at a time around the South East of England. So ability to travel (ideally by car) is crucial. Travel expense and accommodation costs are covered. You need to already be located in the UK with no requirement for sponsorship.
