Our client is a leading public law firm based in London that specialises in public sector law and acts for local authorities, central government bodies, commercial clients, charities, housing associations and other organisations. The Employment team covers a broad range of Employment related matters with particular expertise in tribunal litigation and advising clients in the education and charities sectors.
The Role
The Employment team are looking for an NQ Employment lawyer to join their growing team. This would involve working with both employers and high level employees. As a junior lawyer within this team, you will provide support to the team on matters relating to:
- Employment policies and procedures
- Equal pay
- Staff grievances
- Redundancies and re-structuring
- Discrimination
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to gain experience in a full-service law firm by working alongside some top quality lawyers on complex matters.
About You
You will currently be a trainee solicitor/recently qualified solicitor with at least one seat carried out in Employment. The successful candidate will have:
