The Firm

Our client is a full service global law firm with multiple UK offices and further reach across more than 25 countries. The Employment team is made up of over 200 qualified lawyers internationally and they cover the full remit of contentious and non-contentious Employment related matters for a range of clients from start-ups to SMEs to global brands. The team and its individuals are highly ranked in the legal directories across multiple locations which is unsurprising when you consider their excellence in knowledge, skills, and manner.

The Role

This particular team acts for national and international clients on advisory cases, corporate support, mergers & acquisitions, and advocacy, with a significant number of Employment Tribunal claims handled each year. Due to this, our client is specifically looking for someone to support primarily on handling Employment litigation, including advocacy, so this person should be an experienced qualified solicitor or barrister. You will work across sectors including technology, education, retail, finance, and transport. You will also be expected to supervise more junior members of the team.

About You

You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with strong post qualification experience in Employment law and significant experience with litigation and tribunal cases. You should have:

  • experience in providing supervision and support to juniors
  • experience of working with team members in other offices
  • the ability to deliver quality service to clients and good people skills
  • the ability to handle the demands of a heavy workload
