Our client is seeking an experienced Insurance Associate to join their growing Insurance team in Bristol.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex insurance matters, including high-value disputes, policy coverage issues, and advisory work for major insurers and brokers.
Responsibilities
- Handle professional indemnity disputes across various sectors
- Advise on financial lines, D&O, W&I, CAR, marine, reinsurance and cyber risks
- Manage complex policy coverage matters for clients
- Draft and advise on insurance agreements and claims handling
- Deliver practical, commercial advice to London market and international clients
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ PQE
- Experience in insurance disputes, litigation/arbitration or advising insurers
- Excellent case management, drafting, and client-facing skills
- Sound judgement and strong interpersonal and project management abilities
- Prior experience at a leading insurance or international law firm preferred
