The Opportunity
An international private practice firm is seeking a talented Investment Funds Associate to join its London office. This role offers exposure to a broad range of fund structures and clients, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds and impact investors.
You’ll advise leading global institutions, fund managers and investors on complex fund-related matters, with a particular focus on cross-border work and investments in emerging and frontier markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on the structuring, formation, and operation of investment funds across multiple asset classes
- Drafting and negotiating fund documentation, side letters and investor agreements
- Supporting international institutions, including development finance and other impact-focused investors
- Advising on GP removal, replacement and other governance issues
- Managing transactions across multiple jurisdictions and coordinating with local counsel
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent)
- 2–6 years’ post-qualification experience within a leading law firm or top-tier practice
- Strong background in investment funds and/or private equity transactions
- Demonstrable experience advising on cross-border fund structures
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and project management skills
- Commercially astute, client-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Confident team player with strong communication skills
