Senior Associate, Corporate M&A – London

We are seeking a talented and commercially minded Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate M&A team in London.

It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer to work on a broad range of complex and high‑value domestic and cross‑border transactions, advising leading corporates, private equity sponsors, and management teams across a variety of sectors.

The Role

You will play a key role on sophisticated M&A matters, taking responsibility for running transactions, managing junior team members, and maintaining close client relationships. The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to contribute strategically to deal structuring and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures, disposals, and strategic investments
• Managing transactions from inception to completion, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Leading and supervising junior associates and trainees
• Working closely with partners and clients to deliver practical, commercial advice
• Contributing to business development initiatives and client relationship management

Candidate Profile

• Typically 4+ PQE with strong experience in corporate M&A gained at a leading City, international, or top‑tier firm
• Excellent technical skills with a proven track record on complex transactions
• Commercial, proactive, and able to manage multiple matters effectively
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
• Experience of supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
