Client Delivery Consultant (HR/Compensation Tech SaaS)

Job Purpose

The Client Delivery Consultant role is an important position within our expanding Customer team. This is a multi-faceted role with a big focus on supporting delivery excellence in client engagements, helping to assess client needs and translate them into fit-for-purpose outcomes. Day-to-day you’ll support job architecture transformations and input into AI job content generation by ensuring alignment to client frameworks, language and governance standards. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Customer Success, Implementation, Technology and Machine Learning to ensure a smooth path to client delivery, platform adoption and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting end-to-end job architecture transformations from discovery through design, solution build and delivery.
  • Analyzing and interpreting client data to help create clear, fit-for-purpose job architecture designs.
  • Owning the delivery component of small-medium client engagements – supporting workshops, undertaking data analysis and executing on delivery.
  • Supporting the AI content generation process by preparing briefs, providing inputs and requirements, and reviewing outputs for accuracy and alignment to client-specific frameworks and requirements.
  • Applying RoleMapper’s skills framework to job architectures and quality-assuring AI-generated job content for language, levelling and bias.
  • Preparing high-quality datasets for platform upload, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to manage timelines, risks, dependencies and project updates.

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • A background as a proven team member in HR transformation, Compensation and/or Human Capital Consulting projects within a Consultancy environment.
  • Working knowledge of job architecture structures and design (families, levelling, titling), with a grasp of how design choices impact downstream HR processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complexity and translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent Excel skills and confidence (and enthusiasm for) using and learning new software tools, including AI tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on project components while collaborating effectively with internal and client stakeholders.
  • An excitement for how HR technology and machine learning can support HR processes.

You will also have:

  • A proactive, self-starter mindset: comfortable with pace and ambiguity, iterates quickly to keep timelines tight, and seeks directional guidance rather than handholding.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills to convey complex decisions and outcomes simply.
  • Great stakeholder management skills – good at listening, understanding customers’ needs and communicating solutions.
  • Excitement about the opportunity to join and build a career in a fast-growth start-up where everything is constantly evolving.

Start-up life is not for everyone! To really thrive with us you will be 'Start-up ready'. You are naturally proactive, open to change, have a continuous improvement mindset, are flexible, happy to go beyond your brief, enjoy working at pace and are comfortable with ambiguity.

Values

  • Customer Focus: we are obsessive about delivering value and reducing complexity for customers.
  • Collaboration: we’re all about the team – collaborating, supporting and recognising everyone’s contributions.
  • Openness & Honesty: we are open, honest, and straight-talking with each other and our customers.
  • Authenticity & Humility: we bring our whole selves to work, and we have the humility and self-honesty to admit when we are wrong.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: Upto 45k dependent on experience.

In addition to 25 days of holiday we have a paid shutdown period between Christmas and New Year which equates to an additional 3 to 5 days, depending on where the holidays land. We have also introduced “breathe” time giving the team downtime to “stop the train”, take a breath, catch-up and re‑group.

  • Pension contribution.
  • Top up your life insurance cover up to 8 times your annual salary (capped at £750,000).
  • Purchase Critical Illness cover, up to 5 times your basic salary (capped at £500,000).

  • Join the Private Medical Scheme and add your immediate family to your private medical policy.
  • Join the cash plan scheme and add your partner (children are covered for free).
  • Purchase a cycle or cycling equipment through the Cycle2Work Scheme.
  • Lease an Electric car with Loveelectric.
  • Save money on your nursery fees with our Nursery Scheme.

Location

We have regular team working‑together days in Exeter & London, so you would need to live/work somewhere reasonably accessible to one or more of these locations.
