Are you seeking a hands-on role within a friendly and supportive environment? Wincanton Dedicated Grocery c/o COOP in Wellingborough is looking for motivated individuals to join our warehouse team on a permanent basis. We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude, offering a workplace where your contributions truly matter. Our warehouse operates around the clock—excluding Christmas Day—ensuring shelves are stocked and orders are fulfilled efficiently, thanks to advanced technology and strong team spirit.

Role Details

  • Location: Coop, Wellingborough
  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Pay Rates

  • Days: 04:00–12:00 (£13.70)
  • Days: 06:00–14:00 (£13.04)
  • Backs: 12:00–20:00 (£13.70)
  • Backs: 14:00–22:00 (£14.35)
  • Base rate: £12.71 per hour, with additional premiums: Nights (+£2.46 per hour), Weekends (+£1.76 per hour)

Your Responsibilities

  • Picking, moving, and tracking stock—sometimes using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and sometimes by hand
  • Utilising digital tools to manage orders efficiently
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy, and timely warehouse environment
  • Supporting fellow team members to achieve collective goals

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience is welcome, but not required—we provide comprehensive training
  • Reliable, eager to learn, and ready for a challenge
  • Strong team player

Shift Patterns Available:

  • Days: 04:00–12:00 or 06:00–14:00, any 5 days out of 7 (as per company rota) or Sunday to Thursday
  • Backs: 12:00–20:00 or 14:00–22:00, any 5 days out of 7 (as per company rota) or Tuesday-Saturday
