Role overview

You’ll lead our Claims Fraud First Party in protecting senior Hastings Direct customers against fraudulent claims. You’ll provide overall team support, assist the Claims Fraud Operations Manager, drive performance and maintain performance levels.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for a team of Claims Fraud First Party Investigators
  • Implementation of the Claims Fraud strategy and the creation and introduction of relevant performance measures
  • Working with your team to ensure that quality and development needs are met on a day‑to‑day basis
  • Conducting regular one‑to‑ones, team meetings and ensuring everyone in the team has a development plan with actions
  • Acting as a referral point for the team, providing coaching, mentoring and training
  • Providing regular audit reports on each of the team members on an agreed recurrence and creating bespoke reports as required

Essential skills and experience

  • Proven knowledge of Claims and/or Fraud
  • Experienced in people leadership – understanding of MLCX and how to create this culture within your team
  • Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills
