The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, motivated graduate to join the Commerce & Industry team as a Graduate Researcher/Consultant. You’ll support Consultants on both retained and contingent assignments, working closely on projects across a wide variety of sectors and company sizes—from high-growth private equity-backed firms to global listed businesses. The role offers structured career progression, with a clear pathway to becoming a Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep and detailed research, spotting patterns, finding creative avenues to source high calibre talent and immaculate presentation skills.
  • Attending client pitches and briefing meetings to understand the complex and challenging projects you will be a part of.
  • Identifying, approaching, and engaging potential candidates via LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases.
  • Conducting initial conversations and interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Supporting Consultants in client meetings, pitches, and candidate shortlist presentations.
  • Assisting in the production of CV summaries, market maps, and research documentation.
  • Staying updated on financial news and trends to build commercial awareness.
  • Coordinating interviews and managing candidate/client communications throughout the recruitment process.
  • Networking within your sector to build a long term network.
  • Networking internally to build your brand and learn from high performers.
