Roland Mouret is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Product Development Assistant to join our Product Development team. This role provides essential administrative and operational support throughout the product development process, working closely with Design, Production, Merchandising, and Technical teams to help bring our womenswear collections to life. Reporting to Senior Product Development, you will play a key role in supporting the development of each collection from initial concept through to production. The Role
- Support the Design and Product Development team throughout the seasonal collection development process.
- Maintain accurate product information, specifications, and development records across internal systems and critical path documents.
- Coordinate the receipt, tracking, and organisation of development samples, prototypes, and fit samples.
- Assist in preparing product development packs, technical documentation, and supplier communications.
- Liaise with Design, Production, Technical, Merchandising, and external suppliers to ensure development deadlines are met.
- Monitor sample progress and follow up with manufacturers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare samples for reviews, and accurately record fit comments and development updates.
- Support fabric, trim, and component sourcing by organising supplier submissions and maintaining material libraries.
- Prepare presentation materials, line sheets, and collection documentation for internal meetings.
- Maintain organised sample libraries and development archives.
- Provide administrative support across the Product Development function, ensuring accurate filing, reporting, and document management.
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and support continuous efficiency across the department.

Requirements
- Degree or relevant experience in Fashion, Product Development or related discipline.
- Previous internship or experience within product development, production, buying, merchandising, or a luxury fashion environment is desirable.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with PLM/ Zedonk/Rechain systems is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and the luxury product development process is beneficial.
- This is an English-speaking position, and the successful candidate must be available to work five days per week from our London Head Office.
