About the team: The Ads Business Development team is responsible for managing and growing Roku's programmatic and reseller partnerships driving incremental revenue and demand extension with third party platforms and partners.
About the role: Roku is looking for an experienced, self-starting Ads Business Development Manager to join our Ads Business Development team. This role will drive the growth of Roku's programmatic partnerships and broader ads business across the UK. This position is critical in bridging Roku's US-based DSP and SSP partners with UK market opportunities while also cultivating local in-market partnerships. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue impact by managing partner relationships, coordinating cross-border initiatives, and ensuring partnership success across the region. This role requires exceptional communication skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment.
What you will be doing:
- Serve as the primary liaison between US-based SSP & DSP partners and their UK operations counterparts.
- Build, manage and support relationships with in-market UK programmatic partners, agencies, trading desks and strategic partners.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies tailored to the UK, with unique market dynamics and growth stages.
- Manage partner activities including partnership plans, reporting, technical troubleshooting, upselling, and ongoing communication.
- Translate Roku's value proposition effectively for UK audiences, adapting messaging for regional market conditions.
- Work with product teams to identify opportunities for UK-specific product improvements and data asset offerings.
- Qualify and prioritize leads based on regional market alignment and company goals.
- Navigate cultural and business practice differences between US partners and UK market expectations.
We are excited if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in advertising partnerships, DSP or SSP experience preferred. OTT platform is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of management and reporting products such as Tableau, Salesforce among others. Experience in SSP instances is a big plus.
- Working knowledge of both oRTB, VAST and ad-servers.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint & Excel.
- Deep knowledge of the UK programmatic advertising ecosystem, including key players and market maturity levels.
- Experience working with US-based ad tech companies and their UK expansion strategies.
- Proven ability to manage relationships across cultures and geographies.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret partnership performance data and identify optimization opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with shifting priorities.
