What You’ll Take On (The Actual Job Description)

This is a chance to shape how underwriting governance works in practice. You’ll turn data into insight, strengthen controls and help embed smarter, more scalable ways of working. Sitting close to underwriting teams and control functions, you’ll bring constructive challenge while balancing robust governance with the realities of a fast-moving specialty underwriting environment.

What You’ll Take On

• Build and evolve underwriting governance MI and dashboards, turning data into clear insight that helps senior leaders understand trends, exceptions and emerging risks.
• Own oversight of underwriting authorities and key governance controls, identifying recurring issues, challenging where needed and helping strengthen underwriting discipline.
• Shape how governance is embedded within ATOMX, using automation and smarter workflows to make controls consistent, scalable and effective.
• Turn analysis into improvement, finding root causes, control weaknesses and opportunities to simplify processes without losing appropriate oversight.
• Partner with underwriting teams on governance and underwriting excellence, bringing strong Specialty Insurance, Lloyd’s or MGA experience and taking improvement initiatives from idea through to implementation.
