Rokstone Underwriting is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Casualty Underwriter to join our UK & Ireland team. This role will focus on underwriting and developing a portfolio of third-party liability risks including Employers’, Public, and Products Liability, with additional exposure to Professional Indemnity and other casualty lines.
- Underwrite new and renewal UK & Ireland casualty risks within agreed authority limits and underwriting guidelines.
- Evaluate risk exposures and provide tailored insurance solutions across a variety of casualty products.
- Monitor portfolio performance, assist with analysis, and contribute to reporting.
- Collaborate with teams, including claims, compliance, actuarial, and operations, to maintain underwriting discipline and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Commercial mindset and ability to balance technical analysis with broker and client needs.
- Working knowledge of the UK regulatory environment (FCA/PRA).
