What You’ll Take On (The actual job description)
Lead the shape of complex claims at Rokstone, where judgement, technical strength and commercial thinking come together to define outcomes.
This is a senior role with real influence.
You’ll set the direction for how complex claims are handled, partnering across the business and with the market to drive consistency, clarity and confidence in decision-making.
It’s about building a proposition that stands up under pressure and a team that delivers it.
- What you’ll do
- Own and evolve the complex claims strategy, turning technical expertise into clear, consistent decision‑making across high-value and sensitive cases.
- Lead reserving philosophy and claims protocols, using insight and judgement to strengthen financial accuracy and long‑term performance.
- Partner with actuarial, operations and external experts to improve how claims flow, ensuring speed, control and clarity at every stage.
- Build and develop a high‑performing technical team, raising standards through mentoring, peer review and hands‑on leadership.
- Shape relationships with capacity providers and TPAs, strengthening trust and transparency across complex loss reporting and oversight.
