This is a senior leadership role for a claims professional who thrives in complexity. You’ll shape and lead Rokstone’s global claims approach across high‑value, long‑tail liability exposures, influencing outcomes that matter to underwriters, capacity providers and the wider market. The scope is broad, the judgement required is significant, and the impact is real. You’ll sit at the intersection of claims strategy, underwriting performance and market confidence, owning how complex claims are handled, reserved and resolved across the portfolio, while building a claims function that scales with ambition.

What you’ll do:

  • Turn complex, long‑tail liability claims into clear, commercially sound outcomes that protect capital and strengthen market trust.
  • Own and evolve claims strategy across multiple classes, shaping reserving, large loss management and lifecycle exposure decisions.
  • Partner closely with underwriting and actuarial teams, using claims insight to influence coverage, pricing and portfolio direction.
  • Build and manage high‑impact relationships with TPAs, lawyers and technical experts to deploy the right expertise at the right time.
  • Set the standard for governance, judgement and technical excellence, developing people, processes and claims capability as Rokstone grows.

This role is suited to a technically strong leader with deep London Market and US casualty experience who wants genuine ownership and influence.
