Role Summary
We are seeking a Broker Support to join our Professional & Executive Risk Solutions division.
The role will involve supporting the retail team.
This is a busy environment where you will be dealing with a wide range of internal projects and supporting the team on administration, but also helping the team to deal with clients and insurers and looking at their financial lines Insurance requirements.
- Role Requirements
- Assisting in the placement of FI, Commercial D&O and Commercial PI risks from the initial onboarding of clients to issuance of invoices.
- Assist with the execution of the Pro Ex strategy working in collaboration with other team members as well as external stakeholders.
- Day-to-day management and administration of the portfolio, including uploading MRC’s onto Whitespace and issuing all policy documentation including quote reports, invoices and mid-term amendments.
- Provide clear, timely and accurate communications between clients and insurers, whilst working to tight timeframes.
- Work with the team to review clients’ existing programmes and policy wordings, presenting possible improvements, solutions and enhancing client outcomes.
- General advice and support to clients by email, telephone and face to face meetings, as required.
- Offer assistance to team members, as required.

Skills and Abilities
- Ideally 1+ year(s) insurance experience in financial lines/professional risks.
- Be able to assist in preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing resources, practice groups and other producers.
- Preferably have some product knowledge of FI, D&O or PI product lines.
- Preferably working knowledge of Market Reform Contracts.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Be able to maintain face-to-face and telephone contact with clients and Underwriters.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills essential.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
