Role Summary

The Delegated Income Technician is responsible for tracking, monitoring, chasing and processing direct settlement bordereaux and associated income, including Intermediary/Agent (In/Ag) transactions, for Consilium\'s internal MGA partner, Rokstone. The role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely receipt of bordereaux, accurate processing of income, effective management of outstanding items and the escalation of overdue balances. Working closely with Delegated Authority, IBA, and Finance teams, the postholder will provide clear operational visibility into income flows, support robust financial controls, and help ensure service standards are consistently maintained

Role Accountabilities

  • Track and monitor the receipt of direct settlement bordereaux and associated income.
  • Chase outstanding bordereaux and income payments in line with agreed service standards and internal SLAs.
  • Process bordereaux and income transactions accurately and within required timescales.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Escalate overdue items, exceptions and potential risks to management in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting on outstanding, processed and reconciled items.
  • Liaise with Delegated Authority, IBA and Finance teams to ensure smooth and effective operational processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance income management, reporting and control frameworks.
  • Assist with month-end activities, reconciliations and audit requests as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and delegated authority controls.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with coverholders, brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders.
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the wider business and operational objectives.
  • Produce and maintain MI and reporting on bordereaux status, income validation, reconciliations, outstanding balances and aged debt, providing clear operational visibility and supporting effective decision-making across Delegated Authority, IBA and Finance teams.
  • Any other additional duties.

Role Requirements

  • Good understanding of delegated underwriting arrangements, bordereaux and income processing (ideal but not essential).
  • Strong analytical, investigation and reconciliation skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and manipulate data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders.
