Role:
As a scrum master within Roke, you will get to work on exciting and innovative projects, you will be expected to guide one or more scrum teams made up of infrastructure developers, architects, testers and business analysts. As a Scrum master you will be able to motivate new and mature teams and help them work together to deliver value quickly.

Roke is a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Intelligence. You will work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges.

As a Scrum Master , you will be responsible for

  • Facilitate the scrum meetings – Daily Standup, Sprint Retrospective, Sprint Planning
  • Building / Maintaining relationships – To be effective at removing blockers, relationships must be built and maintained with other delivery teams, product, BAE and other client teams across the organisation. Also attend the bi-weekly Scrum Master catch up sessions
  • Maintain the active Jira board and backlog items ensuring all attributes are correctly assigned. Additionally ensure that sprint switchover is completed correctly every sprint as this feeds into the reporting.
  • Sprint / PI Reporting – Ensure reporting on activities is completed and accurate every sprint and every PI.
  • Work with the Agile Coach to ensure that agile methodology is implemented and complied with.
  • Prepare Feature Status slide for every sprint review.
  • Facilitate PI Planning, ensuring team discussions are relevant, recording on tools is accurate and attending scrum meetings in addition to performing play-back duties.
  • Ensuring the team disseminate information to users of the systems.

    You’ll find our Woking site in a modern building on the outskirts of London. Rated excellent for sustainability by BREEAM & Fitwel certified – you’ll feel better for visiting. This site provides key links to our customers in London, is a 5 minute walk from the train station, has secure parking nearby and dedicated cycle storage.

    Your time will be spent working on customer sites in the London area
