As Head of Project Management Office (PMO) and Business Change you will lead the function in supporting Project Managers and the wider National Security Business Unit (BU) in achieving delivery success. You will also be responsible for leading and promoting the change activities within the BU and the BU side of Roke-wide change. You will achieve this by working closely with Delivery Leadership, Client Management, Business Operations, and central functions.
Key Responsibilities- To ensure business success through the provision of high-quality services to functions which exist within a Business Unit.
- Improve business performance by identifying and consolidating internal processes and maintaining defined business rhythms and supporting business change.
- To provide a ‘front door’ for knowledge & information within the BU.
- Support decision making through the provision of accurate and timely Management Information to BU Leadership and other internal functions.
- Ensure the BU is adhering to company policy and process through compliance analysis and corrective actions.
- To lead and embed change across the BU.
- Ensure strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and operational improvements which impact the Business Unit are adopted by the business and deliver measurable benefits.
- Establish and operate a set of Project Support services that allow Delivery, Client, People and Commercial Management teams to operate efficiently within the Business Unit.
- Working with central administration services provide a seamless administration service to the Business Unit.
- Maintain and establish Management Information and Reporting for the Business Unit which allows leadership and the Project Management Office teams to take supportive action.
- Oversee the change portfolio within the Business Unit managing the interdependencies, risks and resource demands across these.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure staff engagement, readiness and adoption throughout the change implementations.
- Undertake such other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job holder’s experience and qualifications, as may be required for the smooth operation of the business.
- Information and Data Management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ P3 experience in customer facing organisations, preferably with experience of delivering complex frameworks and programmes.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- People Management.
- Data analysis experience.
