What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve real‑world problems in national security.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI capabilities into mission‑critical systems.

- Apply MLOps best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure model pipelines.

What You’ll Bring:
- Strong Python coding skills.
- Hands‑On AI/ML Expertise: Built and deployed machine learning models using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit‑learn.
- LLM Expertise: Experienced in working with large language models, including prompt engineering, RAG, fine‑tuning, agents, evaluation, and safety considerations and frameworks for implementation (LangChain, LangGraph etc…).
- Research: Reading papers, prototyping, and implementing algorithms (AI or otherwise).
- MLOps: A strong grasp of CI/CD for models, version control, monitoring, and retraining pipelines (MLflow, DVC, Weights & Biases).
- Cloud: Practical experience deploying AI solutions on AWS.
- Experience with containerisation for deploying and scaling AI solutions (Docker).
- Software engineering: Fundamental knowledge of version control (e.g. Git), CI/CD, and testing.
- Expertise in ML algorithms, model development, and lifecycle tools (MLflow, DVC, Weights & Biases).
- Able to translate stakeholder needs into innovative AI solutions.
- Passion for staying current with the AI/ML research landscape.
