RoleAs a DevOps / SRE Engineer, within our National Security Business, you thrive on providing technical leadership; working closely and embedding with customers to maintain the operational integrity of mission critical services in a National Security environment.
You\’re a DevOps / SRE Engineer that provides technical leadership and is comfortable with high level responsibility. You won\’t be leading a team that delivers simple add-ons to multiple vendors; you\’ll be working directly with customers to provide ensure successful delivery of software rollouts that enable the nations safety.
As our next DevOps / SRE Engineer, you\’ll operate with customer availability as a priority; catching issues early and ensuring continued operational integrity of services that are strategically important to the nation. Whilst developing and deploying code, you\’ll ensure best DevOps / SRE practices are followed.
The Key Requirements
Willing to embed with customers in secure environments on a regular basis
Experience of Web Services, Service Improvement, fault finding & problem solving.
Experience operating in a SRE / DevOps environment, utilising pipeline tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab for CI/CD
Experience deploying rollouts with containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm or Docker
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code technologies (IaC) such as Ansible or Terraform

Where you\’ll work…GLOUCESTER – Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you\’ll find our Gloucester site in a business park two minutes from junction 11A of the M5; The site allows easy access to our local customer base. Set on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, you are never far from a picturesque view or lunch time walk.
Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve DV clearance.
