Registered Manager position at a well established provider with a great team and ambitions to grow. The successful candidate will have the freedom to lead our service and the support to do it well.
What the role involves:
- Day-to-day leadership and management of a large nursing home for older adults
- Registration with CQC as the Registered Manager
- Leading, supervising, and developing the staff team across all departments
- Maintaining high standards of care, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Managing admissions, occupancy, and relationships with commissioners and referrers
- Managing budgets, staffing costs, and resources effectively
- Promoting a positive, open, and supportive workplace culture
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience managing or deputy managing a care home, ideally with nursing
- Experience working with and leading clinical teams. Nursing registration is welcome but not essential
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks
- Effective leadership and people management skills
- Sound understanding of budgets, occupancy, and care home operations
- Competent with digital care systems and standard office software
- Excellent communication skills with staff, families, and external professionals
